| lol...actually halloween originates from a celtic holiday under the old "english" term.."all hallows eve" or "celtic new year" ...infact, the name "all hallows eve" is an old irish term. The name in itself was referred to as "summer's end" . So in truth, halloween started out as anything but an american holiday..we did adopt the holiday..but we got it from your country...roflmao!!! |

| @Shiore2002- actually, under the logic of what you just said.. if halloween, was the same today as it was in the earlier ages of europe, it should have been more persecuted in your country, halloween was a holiday that was widely celebrated under celtic and pagan practices. And just to let you know, records have shown that jesus was born in the fall season, not winter...christmas actually derives from a roman holiday where people would celebrate in orgies and heavy drinking of firmented ale. |

| @Shiore2002 - you fail to see my point, christmas was never truly about jesus nor does it have anything to do with christianity in the first place, so the holiday shouldn't be shunned just because europe doesn't learn it's history..plus, its not europe's right to tell others that they cant celebrate christmas, uerope isn't a communist nation. |

| actually..christianity started with the romans before they conquered south western and south eastern europe. and as far as the bible is concerned...you say that it is only symbolic, but if it is only symbolic and not meant to be taken seriously, then where does your belief in the holy trinity come from? ...the answer is...the bible. the bible is the most relevant evidence to the belief in christ, so by denying the bible as truth, you are technically denying christ's trinity. |
